W.I.L.O.W.S. - Semi completive League

W.I.L.O.W.S. - House League
House league is for those players who are just beginning to play or who prefer to play at a less competitive level. There are four House League teams and players will be "shuffled" to make up different teams a few times over the season. You may request to be on the same team as one other player, though nothing is guaranteed.

Volunteers need:
Translator- to update the constution & by laws, position immediate!!!!! This position is currently vacant. Needed for the Executive Committee House League Administrator-Responsible for registration, and allocates players to the individual teams. See below for more details. President, term expires in May 2010
Secretary - position immediate!!!!! This position is currently vacant and task are split between executive members.
Each officer shall be elected by the team representatives to hold office for a period of two 2 years, but If re-elected may serve for a further term or terms. The Secretary shall accept nominations between April 1st and 15th and elections shall take place at the meeting two weeks prior to the indoor winter season play-offs. Each team in the league shall have one vote.
Nominations for President are to be submitted in writing. Two nominators must sign each nomination. One nominator (member in good standing) must write a brief statement why the nominee is a good candidate for the position. The nominee(member in good standing) must write a brief statement why they would like to fill the position.
The committee shall administer the business of the league & exercise those powers that are conferred by the constitution and by-laws of the league or as directed by the team representatives.
